not that good

The game is programmed flawlessly and the art is nice too. Even the concept is brilliant. Actually the only programming thing I disliked was the hit detection on the spikes, it would kill me before I even touch them..

How did you guys screw up so bad on level design? The game is so boring!! I got about half way through then quit. I wish you would have added more level variation and maybe some enemies. The first 7 levels or so are pretty much tutorial levels they are so easy.. why waist my time with more then 1 or 2 easy as hell ones? I think its great there is a level editor though, so if you dont like the levels you guys made you can just make your own.. But the game hasnt intrigued me enough to bother doing that, please please just add more level variation. The new types of barf is really cool, you should do much much more of that sort of thing, and add more enemies and such.

Anyways, I still think Meatboy is your best game. :) :) Good luck in the future.

very addicting

I couldnt stop playing, even though most of the game had no gameplay other then upgrading your guy. I didnt need to touch the arrow keys at all, thats one of my complaints.

My other complaint is that you used some really good unique ideas that I was planning for my next game :( :( haha, I really do hate when that happens..

Tiz a very fun game though, I tried to go as high as I could after I beat the game and it would start to get darker, are there stars and stuff way up there?

The game is great, but it doesnt have much depth to it -not that a flash game needs a great deal of depth, but once you beat it, you're pretty much done. Perhaps adding a scoreboard would help.

Anyways, great game!!

Very fun

Very good game you got here my friend. The best monster truck type game Ive played.

Seriously, why is it, every time I see a new physics racing game like this, they are all basically clones of one another with different (poorly designed) maps.

Well thats not the case here, you actually have TONS of gameplay content to keep the game fun, and your level design is actually really really well done, I love how theres multiple paths.

I must say though, this game has horrible music, thats another constant throughout these types of games. For some reason they all have horrid rock music that loops constantly throughout the game. I suggest using music from the NG portal next time, if you are planning on getting sponsored though, just ask permission for the song and let them know you plan on making money bla bla. Seriously I dont want to listen to a 10 second rock loop for like 20 minutes of gameplay.

So fix the music and you have a solid game. Great job!

great game

Really fun great arcade game!

The controls work perfectly fine for me, I think part of the challenge is to have a ball that is slightly hard to control. Its like you are gliding on ice, it has a really nice feel to it. You dont need to change it again :) (I never tried it the first time, but its good how it is now)

I would have liked to see more of a puzzle challenge to the game along with the cool arcade elements. Although overall, everything comes together nicely.

Next time I say make more of a puzzle challenge and perhaps more variety in level design.

:)

OMFG

Hey shadowings (guy reviewed before me) I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. FUCK! I spent almost an HOUR fucking putting together this whole elaborate scene of two robots fucking, I put a lot of effort into it too. I click on 'save' then it takes me to some shit where I have to sign up for their site.. fine.. I really badly wanted to save it, so I pressed okay, then BAM my fucking robot gets deleted... wtf!?

Then after a bit, I realize it says, "my robots been saved, sign up to submit it" I did it, and then it submits a blank page.. with 1 arm on it, since I thought it was a glitch and inserted an arm to see if 'saving' it would work this time.

So yeah I am fucking pissed too. ha AND YES maybe I am over reacting. It was a very good game though, I will rate the GAME and not the fucking shit experience I had with the saving thing. It was a nice game, and I had fun, until the end :P

very fun

The best flash golf game Ive ever played. Very very very fun. This game still has the same issue I have with all flash golf games. It takes forever for the ball to stop. It wasnt bad in this game, but still something that could be improved on.

good

it was fun. But I wish there was some coins or something that appear after killing some guys. Or a combo system or some kind of mini-mission type thing during gameplay, other wise its just kind of boring, the same thing over and over. Kill this, dodge this etc.

It needs a bit more to it, but overall its a great effort and a great game. Cant wait for the next one.

Skeik responds:

I like the idea of a combo system. If I do a shooter again I'll look into it.

Thanks for the review.

wow perfect 10

This was so so so good!! This was the funnest game Ive played online for a long time. Thank you!

I dont think I could even suggest anything.. It would be hard to improve on this. Perhaps as you upgrade your guy, his appearance changes? Like when upgrading his health you can give him steal armor or something.

I guess my only real complaint would be, I wish it lasted longer. It was a good length however for a flash game so that's not even a valid complaint. Perhaps you could add trophies or NG medals? And each trophy you unlock gives you a point toward a new power and you need like 5 points to unlock a power or something.

Anyways THANK YOU for making this, so much fun!! Can not wait to play the next one, hopefully you decide to make another and hopefully wont take 6 months to finish!

very nice

a very nice game, obviously a lot of blood sweat and tears went into this game. So good job and you should be very proud of this game.

Okay so I did only play for 2 minutes which is about as long as I play a game for on newgrounds unless it really grabs me. I got stuck in the wall twice though in my time playing. Which is maybe a glitch that you knew was in there just couldnt find the fix in time for release? If I ever find a glitch in a game I'm making, I will NOT release it until I fix it, thats a general rule I have.. I wish more people had this rule.

The graphics were good, although a little too reminiscent of Zelda: Link to the past. They were still very well done, just needs its own style. And that goes for the rest of the game I think, a lot of it seems to be inspired too much by Zelda, perhaps you needed a bit more inspiration from other games or books/movies. It's fine if you make a game that is similar to another game, but realize that your game will be compared to that game if you chose to make it so similar. Having your game being compared to Zelda (one of the best games ever) is pretty rough, and probably why your score is so low (I voted 5 btw).

Also I noticed (perhaps this is just my slow computer) level design was a little weird, when you go to the guy in front of the forest and he says you need a shield, there is like a 30 second strip of grass you have to walk along just to get to him, then if you dont have the shield its another 30 seconds walking back (it was night time in the game which for some reason makes me walk even slower). Thats when I quit, I couldn't bear to do that.

UknownXL responds:

Im not sure why it does that either. Some times it would be normal and others it would run slow. Maybe to many things were opened in your browser. And as for the glitch I thought it was gone. I had a programmer fix the collision for me and I no longer experienced any problems.

really good

I like your difference games, they are really fun.

I would like to suggest however, for the 'play with hints' part of the game. It shows me a hint after like 30 seconds or something from starting each puzzle. Why!?! It should only show me a hint if I haven't found any differences for a while. Having a hint system is good, but its kind of broken right now.

Still this was really fun. My fav difference game ever would be the one where the girl is dreaming in her classroom.

DifferenceGames responds:

Thanks, that is a really good suggestion. The hints show more frequent then 30 seconds but many are so subtle you are not aware of them. I've watched some people play where I noticed the hints and they shortly clicked on that spot but it wasn't until the 3rd or 4th one that they say 'hey! that one moved!'. ;)

I definitely like the idea of a timer that resets every time you find one on your own.

Cheers!
